The Italian Umberto Nobile (1885-1978) was an aviator and aeronautical engineer known for his explorations, including the one he made to the Arctic at the invitation of the famous Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen (1872-1928). Through the point of view of Titina, the terrier dog who accompanied them, the viewer witnesses the famous journey to the North Pole in May 1926 aboard the Norge, the airship built by Nobile on purpose for this expedition at Amundsen's request. Inspired by the true friendship (and rivalry) between the two adventurers, this co-production between Norway and Belgium mixes animation and archive footage and was directed by Kajsa Næss, who wrote the script in partnership with Per Schreiner.
