Agenda Municipal / Movies Ymotion, the Youth Film Festival

Young Portuguese filmmakers have until October 6th to apply for their short film to the eight categories of the festival, which according to its commissioner, film critic Rui Pedro Tendinha, is already the biggest prize in Portugal.

In all there will then be eight prizes awarded by the festival, with a natural highlight for the "Joaquim de Almeida Grand Award", worth 2500 euros, which will be awarded to the best short film in the competition.

Prizes will also be given in the categories of "Secondary Schools Award" and "Best Documentary Film Award", worth 750 euros, "Best Animation Short Film Award", worth 600 euros, "Audience Award", worth 350 euros, and prizes for "Best Representation", "Best Cinematography" and "Best Screenplay", worth 250 euros.

The final phase of the Ymotion will take place from 2nd to 7th November, by film critic Rui Pedro Tendinha.

Target: Young Portuguese filmmakers between the ages of 12 and 35.
Maximum duration: the short films should have 20 minutes.
