After the events of the first film, optimistic koala Buster Moon and his comrades plan to premiere a musical at the prestigious Crystal Tower Theater, located in the glamorous city of Redshore. With no means and no contacts, they try to audition with ruthless producer Jimmy Crystal, who is looking for new talent. When they realise they are about to miss their chance, one of them bursts in with the (absurd) idea of claiming that the troupe includes the lion Clay Calloway, a living rock legend who long ago left the spotlight to isolate himself from the world. Astonished by what he has just heard, and curious about what might come of it, Jimmy gives them a chance. Having solved one problem, our friends are faced with another they hadn't anticipated: finding Clay, convincing him to return to the stage and putting the show together - all in just three weeks. From Illumination Studios (responsible for "Despicable Me", "Minions", "The Secret Life of Pets" or the first "Sing!"), a comedy for all the family.
