Salvador Sobral is a Portuguese musician and composer. He gained a lot of public visibility after, in 2017, he participated in the Song Festival, where he interpreted the song Amar pelos Dois (“To Love for the Both of Us”), written by Luísa Sobral, making him the winner of the Eurovision Festival in the same year. Since then he has won several prizes and mentions and has been widely acclaimed by the national and international press. At the beginning of 2019, he released his second album under his own name, Paris, Lisbon, which has taken him on an extensive tour around the world and, of course, Portugal.
