The application period for the municipal programme, “Programar em Rede” (Network Programming), has started. This programme aims to support the implementation of a cultural project jointly promoted by two or more associations and institutions of the municipality. The municipal support can go up to 10 thousand euros. The proposals for this 7th edition of the initiative can be submitted until 31 July.
This programme, promoted by Vila Nova de Famalicão City Hall, is aimed at entities operating in the cultural field that have their headquarters in the county of Vila Nova de Famalicão or, in the absence of such headquarters, promote activities of municipal interest and are legally constituted non-profit collective persons.
The application can be made by filling out the registration form available in the Municipality's website at www.famalicao.pt/programar-em-rede and should be sent to the email address cultura@famalicao.pt.
The received projects will be presented and voted in the meeting of the Municipal Council of Culture, which takes place in the last quarter of the year, by the cultural partners that integrate this body. In this session, a winning project will be selected, to be executed between 1 January and 30 July 2023.
The Network Programme was launched by the famalicense municipality in 2016, through the Municipal Council of Culture, and aims to involve various cultural agents of the county in the implementation of an event that is differentiated by innovation and creativity, by the ability to articulate means, by the mobilization and attraction of the public and by the decentralization of cultural activity.
It should be noted that the winning proposal of the last edition, 2021/2022, was the "Overlapping Works", under the scope of INAC - National Institute of Circus Arts, a project that will be implemented in 2022, and developed in partnership with the Cupertino de Miranda Foundation and APPACDM - Famalicão Centre for Activities and Training for Inclusion.
