To mark the end of the summer holidays and the beginning of a new school cycle, the Youth Department of Vila Nova de Famalicão Municipality intends to carry out the second edition of the initiative called Famalicão Youth Fest, especially addressed to the young people of the municipality. This event, which will include concerts, varied workshops, comedy and multimedia shows, will mark the continuity of the activities organised by the municipal executive to involve young people in its territory and raise their satisfaction in belonging to it. The event will take place in several emblematic spaces of our city, on 10 and 11 September.

STAND UP COMEDY | PEDRO TEIXEIRA DA MOTA
At 25, comedian Pedro Teixeira da Mota is already an indispensable name in the panorama of humor in Portugal. The comedian who created ask.tm - the independent podcast with the most listeners in Portugal - has already sold out 3 sessions at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon.
"Caramel Macchiato" is a show that is entirely the result of real experiences and the way the comedian lives them out. The intimate relationship that Pedro Teixeira da Mota creates with his audience is the motto for a surprisingly honest coffee conversation.
This stand-up comedy show sold out most of his shows, including 3 sessions at Tivoli BBVA. He also created "Impasse", a project launched on YouTube at the beginning of May and already has 750 000 views, proving the good moment of form that the artist is in.
CONGUITO, announcer of the morning show Mega-Hits (SNOOZE, will be the HOST OF THE OPENING NIGHT of the FAMALICÃO YOUTH FEST. Apart from welcoming everyone and giving an overview of the two days of initiatives, he will also be the presenter of Pedro Teixeira da Mota's show.

21h30 | FERNANDO DANIEL in 2019 received the Best Portuguese Act award at the MTV Europe Music Awards, which distinguishes the artists who stood out the most throughout the year for their quality and musical popularity and, already this year, has won the same trophy again. Earlier this year, he was awarded the Personality of the Year (Music) category at the 5 Stars Awards, awards that aim to help consumers identify the best in the market at all levels. He was also nominated in the second edition of the PLAY Awards, the Portuguese Music Awards, in the category of Best Male Artist.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
In order to comply with the contingency plans defined by the DGS, the shows of Pedro Mota Teixeira and Fernando Daniel, will have a mixed audience (600 seated seats + 300 standing);
The event is free of charge;
Bookings for the shows are limited to 4 people and may be made in person at the Youth House of Famalicão, between 9am and 6pm, on the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th of September;
For public health reasons, when booking, it will be necessary to provide the full name and telephone number of all the elements;
The withdrawal of the tickets should happen the same day of the show, up to a limit of 4 per person, in the Parque da Devesa (south top - near the lake), between 18.30 and 20.00;
The reservations not withdrawn will be available between 20h00 and 21h00.
Given the circumstances in which we live caused by the pandemic COVID-19, the FYF will be held in accordance with the rules in force at the time of the event.
